Having undertaken my nurse training at Kings College Hospital, London I held a variety of clinical posts in areas as diverse as A&E, elderly care and within a specialist liver failure unit.

My current role is as Deputy Director of Nursing, Clinical Quality and Learning for Cotswold and Vale PCT a large rural PCT with 7 community hospitals. I came to this post having been Matron/Manager of three community hospitals in the Cotswolds, Moreton District, Moore Cottage and Fairford Hospitals.

I am a surveyor for the hospital accreditation programme.

Passionate about community hospitals and their developing role within their communities, I am particular interested in clinical quality and the developing roles for nurses.
