The Future

As an Association we are optimistic about the future of Community Hospitals and community services. Imaginative developments, strong partnerships and vigorous community support are all features of the Community Hospital of the future. These hospitals can make a real contribution to the health and well being of local people. The hospitals enable Acute Hospitals to focus on patients who require specialist secondary care and ease the pressure on their beds, clinics and emergency services.

The Association continues to work for the benefit of its members and all Community Hospitals. We hope that through the work of the Association we can play a part in promoting Community Hospitals and securing a strong future for this valued element of our health care system.
